Bracelet- T. Campbell, Silver & Turquoise, Tufa Cast, Raven

Native designed cast silver bracelet featuring stone accents by Tahltan (Canadian)/Tlingit artist, Terrence Campbell.

This bracelet was created through a process called tufa casting. The design is carved in reverse into tufa stone, a volcanic, porous stone found on the Navajo reservation. Then silver is poured into the mold. The distinctive texture of the stone which is very soft but also resistant to high heats is transferred to the silver. Tufa molds can only be used once making this a unique and original work of art. The turquoise are high end stones which Terrence mined himself at Lone Mountain.
