Totemic Love Bird Medallion Bronze

This design is a collaboration between two skilled artists, namely Gunnar from the mint and Steffani Coxwell - a Tsimshian Alaska Native artist residing in Soldotna, AK on the Kenai Peninsula. It showcases the totemic Love Birds motif, a heart formed by an eagle and a raven. The design is minted in golden bronze, pure copper, 1 oz .999 fine silver, 1 oz single gold relief (24k plating on the front of the silver coin), and 1 oz double gold relief (24k gold plating on both sides). The medallion is similar in size to a silver dollar and is packaged in an airtight container and a beautiful gift box. This piece not only boasts stunning visual appeal but also represents the culture, history, and traditions of the Tlingit people - an indigenous group that has called Alaska home for thousands of years and is renowned for their exquisite artistic traditions.
