Shawn Edenshaw is a master jeweler of Haida and Gitxsan heritage, trained by his father Jim Edenshaw and mentored by legendary artist Robert Davidson. Beginning his carving practice at age 12, Shawn developed his craft through the Rainbow Creek Dance Group, where he deepened his understanding of traditional Northwest Coast protocols and artistic expression. His expertise earned him a teaching position at Vancouver's Native Education College Jewellery Arts Program in 2013, and his work was featured in the acclaimed publication Understanding Northwest Coast Indigenous Jewelry. This bracelet showcases his signature Eagle and Salmon design, reflecting the rich storytelling and cultural significance central to Haida artistry.
