Gerry Sheena is a Coast Salish carver based in Vancouver, BC, with over thirty years of experience creating distinctive wood carvings. Self-taught but mentored by respected artists including Henry McKay and renowned Kwakwaka'wakw master Stan Hunt III, Gerry has refined his signature detailed and intentional finishing techniques. His formal training includes studies at Emily Carr School and Langara Community College focused on Fine Arts. His work is held in prestigious collections including the Museum of Anthropology at the University of British Columbia and galleries throughout Canada and the United States.
