Alaska Quarter Replica Medallion Bronze

In 2008, Governor Sarah Palin held a press conference at the Alaska Mint to unveil the official design for the Alaska Statehood Quarter. Multiple designs were considered, but ultimately a "children's vote" chose the winning design featuring a Kodiak grizzly bear. This replica medallion is available in golden bronze, 1 ounce .999 fine silver, 1 oz single gold relief (with 24k plating on the front of the silver coin), and 1 oz double gold relief (featuring 24k gold plating on both sides). Similar in size to a silver dollar, it comes with an airtight container and a handsome gift box. The reverse side showcases the popular "Land of the Midnight Sun" design.
