He apprenticed under the esteemed carver Terrence Campbell of Prince Rupert, BC, honing his skills in traditional techniques while incorporating contemporary elements. Grant’s work is a testament to the strength and resilience of Tahltan artistry, blending time-honored methods with a modern aesthetic. Beyond his dedication to preserving Indigenous craftsmanship, he actively supports Indigenous communities across the Yukon Territory through mediation and negotiation. Grant currently lives and creates in Vancouver, British Columbia, continuing his commitment to cultural and artistic excellence.
